A BIG shout out to Big Ink! For quite a while I've been wanting to work larger. I've also wanted to develop my skill in woodblock printing. So when I learned that Big Ink was coming to Cincinnati to host a weekend of printing monumentally sized woodcuts, I couldn't resist applying for the opportunity to work on both my goals! Some of the photos below document the process. (It took me 5 weeks to design and carve my 24" x 36" block.) The rest are from the printing event that took place on March 27 at Tiger Lily Press.
